Two years and almost six months

These past two point five years have been..
Joyful
A blessing
Challenging
The best years of my life thus far!

Breck is a very a happy energetic young man. He makes us laugh always. He is Mr. Chatter box. Mr. Personality. Mr. Attitude. He is 36 inches tall and 29 pounds putting his height prediction at 5'10

Things he loves:
His dad
Pink and blue (his blankets)
Dancing
Vacuums
Puppies and kitties
Singing
Eating
LIFE in general!

This last Friday Breck had his second set of tubes put in and adnoids out. He was a champ!!! It went well and only got sick once (on our way home from willmar) then bounced back to his spunky self within hours!

Here's to many many many more years to health and happiness!

Fall..in' leaves

Fall is here!
My most favorite time of year. I love the temps, the colors, and the upcoming holidays!
My little pumpkin head and I spend all afternoon outside in the leaves...pushing them around....
We should/could start bagging them, but with our ten maple trees that produce a billion leaves we have decides this year to mulch them instead of bag them! Yeah!

Funny things to remember #2

Breck is still obsessed with vacuums and has been since he was months old...weird I know!

So memaw came over for dinner with us and of course the vacuum had to join us too.  (Don't you love my old school Kirby....it was my grandma and grandpa Smiths...heavy sucker, but works amazing)

So Breck starts hugging the vacuum, then makes my mom hold it on her lap! If you ask Breck if he loves vacuums he most seriously says "I do"!
Memaw couldn't take it anymore and lost it...spitting her drink all over me!!!

He is going to make some lady very happy!!!

Funny things to remember #1

Breck is now in his big boy bed full...well mostly!
Until he climbs into ours in the middle of the night and his dad is a). To lazy to bring him back and b). Enjoys his snuggles to much to bring him back
So when we put him to bed we say good night and shut his door.  He usually opens and shuts it a couple times before crashing in his bed for the night. 
When I went to check on him I found something outside his door.......
A picture of ME when I was five years old and a flower girl in my aunt and uncles wedding that sits on his dresser because he loves that little frame.
He must not have been happy with me so to show it he was getting rid of me for the night!!!!

A day on the farm...

Is much different then our everyday lives at home!
In early September we took a trip up north to visit cousins. On the way we made a pit stop for grandpa's work and Breck had his first combine experience. 
He fell in love with this big green machine!

At my cousins we hit up the Fertile HoeDown and enjoyed our first taste of cotton candy. He was more into the look of this big blur ball of sticky sugar then the taste of it and quickly gave it up!
We also enjoyed hey rides, music and dance, and of course the dunk tank with my cousins husband in it!
Back at thier farm house Breck LOVED "playing" with those poor kitties! Thirds only defence from our two monsters was the tree!
Then it was off to the next best thing,
Feeding the doe!
It was a fun weekend....
And I'm pretty sure Breck could get use to life on the farm...
His mom?
Not so much :)

This little boy loves to ride his tricycle...
And he's so good at hit he can ride all the way @ our big block!!
Although sometimes we stop to explore which makes our trip a bit longer,
Sometime we tip over because we ride to fast and take a sharp turn and he gets right up and say "I not crying",
Sometimes we get stubborn and refuse to pedal so then mom drags the dang thing home with a crying kid running behind...oh the joys of two year olds,
But most of the time we have a lovely time just biking around the block (in our rain boots of course)!
And most of the time this boy is so wore out that by the time we get to the front door...
He collapes on the rug
Which makes me think "nap time"
And he says "no momma, I not tired"!!
Then he's snoozing in his bed three seconds later :)

Buddies

The end of summer is near and these two buddies have been inseparable and I have a feeling will miss each others company.

We like to to refer to these two as "dumb and dumber" as they pull stunts like this riding a bike around together!

One thing I won't miss with summers end are these dirty toes!!  Bath night every night!! And bumps and bruises!!
