Buzz cut...

Breck has looked a bit shaggy lately
so while at a friends house for our Thursday morning play date
two of the lovely mom's cut his hair for me,
one captured the moment,
while I held him down and bribed him with fruit loops :)

We must be pros...so patient and kind!
mom of one.
mom of two
mom of three
mom of four
"momma heroes"

Such a FUN group of ladies to hang out with every week!
Lucky us!

Dancing machine

Breck just turned 22 months!!
(22 is my favorite number...does that mean it will be a good month?)

Lately he has been busy! busy! busy!
Testing his mom and dad,
with a very "toddler" personality!

He knows what he wants,
he is determined to get it.

BUT,
we are fighting back...
only because I LOVE this sweet little boy,
and LOVE him even more when he's...SWEET!
Breck got this cute little puppy from the Selly's.
It dances and plays music...
and apparently so does Breck!

Winter has begun

and it's MARCH!
Our first huge snowstorm hit us at the beginning of the week
and I am HAPPY about it.
I love snow,
and this winter has been snow-less.
So bring it on mother nature!

While Jerod blew out our driveway & the neighbors,
we played!
Breck kept watching Jerod and saying "vacuum"
it was funny,
but not all that surprising since he is obsessed with vacuums!

I think I had more fun helping the kids build forts using a rectangle plastic container...
it was the most perfect snow!
Cal made a peep hole for their snowball fight...smart!
Until his sister threw a snowball right into the hole and got snow in his eye :)
He quickly covered up the hole!

Then we made a snowman!
We decorated it with orange chalk for a nose (we only had mini carrots)
dried flowers/plants for eyes
and rocks for a mouth!
They were proud of their little snowman!

The weather was amazing and we spent over an hour and a half outside playing!
I might have had more fun then they did...really!

I could have winter
ALL the time!
(don't boo me please)

*I was a little bummed to see that on Thursday after school some dummy kid came by and knocked over our snowman...NOT nice.

This little boy loved playing outside,
and slept like an angel that night!

Weekend in Mankato

Last weekend we made our (usually semi annual) trip to Mankato to visit our
good friends and growing family
The Selly's!
It had been sinceWatercade since we have seen them...WAY to long.
Liana is now a big girl who will be ONE the day before Mr. B's second birthday!
They played so nice..most of the time when B wasn't acting jealous and wouldn't share his mom or dad with a couple snuggles from Liana.

During our visit we ate at Dino's Pizza.
AMAZING pizza & appitizers
and they gave the kids dough to play with while they waited,
plus they let you color on the table cloth.

We brought the kids to the Kids/Baby Expo and got tons of free stuff & a petting zoo for the kids.

Did a bit of shopping...oh how I miss having the mall near by,
but I guess I have saved a ton of money since we have moved :)

Ate at LeeAnn Chin,
ALWAYS amazing.

Let the kids play at the indoor playground at the mall for being such
good kids while we dragged them all around on Saturday!

Enjoyed a wonderful steak & chicken dinner,
along with a million other meals, snacks, treats.
(pretty sure we didn't stop eating all weekend)

And best of all the company of GOOD friends!
Like always,
it was hard to say goodbye
but we promised we wouldn't let almost a year
go by without seeing eachother again.

Yippee for Friday...

WHO doesn't like Friday's?!
We
DO!
Times
A
Thousand!

We spend our Friday mornings at the Litchfield Library attending story time with Mrs. Pease.
She does an awesome job!
(Anyone can attend & it's free)
We hang out with our buddies,

dance and spin a little,

then sing and play instruments along with Mrs. Pease playing her guitar.

"Story time" is a bit difficult for us at this age...
the ants in our pants get the best of us!

Afterwards we usually stay and play for a bit with friends
and mom's get a chance to chit chat too!
The toys at the library are MUCH more fun then at home!
Today we were lucky to have an awesome mom,
who brings her awesome camera,
to take pictures of her awesome kids,
because she is just so awesome  like that (and I'm not),
that snuck in a couple pictures of Breck for ME!
I think they are so cute...
and now think I need a better camera :)
Hmmm..my birthday and our anniversary IS coming up!

Happy Friday!
Have a wonderful "SPRING like" weekend.

My Valentine!

Lover's day started off with a something special for my little guy!

A BUBBLE BATH
with extra
BUBBLES!
It was all fun & giggles until I blew bubbles and they landed on his face :)

This bubble bath was special because
a). we had a bath for FUN vs. because we needed one
b). we took it in the morning instead of at night like we usually do

Then I surprised him with a big read balloon!
To match his cute red shirt :)

I dropped him off at daycare for his Valentines party, along with his special treats for his friends!
Lips & Mustaches
Isn't that funny?! And cute?!

After work Jerod & I gave Breck his Valentines gift....
A FISH!

He just LOVES fishy fishy
and gives him lots of kisses!

We asked Breck what to call him...
he said "sucker"
and "bubbles"
{we think because he took a buble bath that morning}
ha!ha!

For our special Valentines dinner
we had our favorite
wild rice soup,
homemade bread,
and a glass of
White Zin!
{one glass and I was feelin' a little zippy}
While we had our little dinner date...
Breck watched some Mick"a" and rocked on his horse!
{this lasted about 10 minutes}
Since it was a long day,
we were all in bed early!
Oh' my how Valentine's Day has changed,
for the better!
Having my two boys....lucky me!
