Thanksgiving festivities

Our long thanksgiving weekend was full of family, friends, food, and fun!!

On thanksgiving day we spent the day at the barrick's for lunch.  We stuffed our bellies with the holiday fixings, enjoyed our first "big" snowfall of the year, enjoyed the company of family, shot some pool, and brecks favorite part....pie :)
Then we were off to my parents place for some evening pie.  Our thanksgiving was a bit different this year.  My older brothers family stayed in Duluth, my younger brother was in the hospital enjoying their day old baby girl, and mom and dad spent the day visiting them.  So we got together for the best part of thanksgiving dinner....more pie!  Breck was in heaven...and on a huge sugar high!
That weekend we also attended a housewarming/ugly sweater party. Jerod is all about making a fool out of himself....and his wife obviously too :)  it was a fun night out! Jerod won the best outfit of the party and won a.....big ole junky used tv.  We "accidently" forgot it :)

Lately...

This little boy has been showing us just how big he is getting!

He loves to "help" us.
So each night he helps set the table and does a great job at it too...plate, napkin, and silverware places neatly on the table (I blame the OCDness on my dad and sister).

He has also really been into babies, I believe since his new cousin was born. So now if people ask him what he wants for Christmas he tells them a baby!!! Hmmm...not from this momma..yet.

Then there's his goofiness.  He loves to hide....
Sometimes I can't find him and panic and then I realize "oh he's just under the Lego bin" after I see little fingers peak out!

Love this boy!

New baby cousin

My younger brother and wife had a bay the day before Thanksgiving!
Meet Miss Ella Marie Smith, the sweetest little gal.
Breck loves her so much! He clobbers her with hugs and kisses.
He also named his "baby" (glow worm) Ella, which he rocks, hugs, and kisses.

We are so thankful for this bundle of love....

To busy to care

What do you do on a Sunday morning to stay busy?
Play with moon sand of course

What do you do if your pants fall off while playing with moon sand?
Keep playing of course!

Our little visitor

We had a guest at our house last week and boy oh boy her and Breck hit it off!
He adored her!
He brought her toys, covered her with her blanket, talked to he and made her smile!
When her dad came to get her he almost refused to give her back ;)

I think someday he will make the very best big brother!

Things that I love..

This little boy who has always wore the silly hats his mom puts him in including this one...Rudolph the red nose reindeer. (Note the blue lips from the sucker he ate right before he passed out)

This little boys imagination. I love the way he plays, talks, remembers things and tells stories. Here he is with his "baby" giving him a ride on his lawn mower just like grandpa Mike (our neighbor Mike Boyle) does!

These two boys wrestle every singe day when dad gets home from work.

This little boy in his footie pajamas! So cuddly.

These two boys helping their lady (me) put up Christmas decore on this beautiful Sunday morning.

Lucky Lucky.

Friday funday

On friday the kids didn't have school so I they joined Breck and I for the day.
To keep them busy we made homemade moon sand (of course found on pinterest)!
Truely recommend making this....
Cheap
Easy
Messy but easy clean up
And loads of fun!
8 cups flour with 1 cup baby oil (I cut ours in half)
Give them spoons, cookie cutters, medicine cups and let them play while you get some launry done....
Or sit on the couch and find more pinterest projects :)

Happy moon sanding!!
