Breck's 1st Easter.....

The morning of Easter we woke up and got ready for church..

mom told us it was at 10:45 so we took our sweet time.

We arrived at 10:35 and noticed we were the only ones walking in,

then a full church of singing people enjoying Easter service

THAT STARTED AT 10:00!

Sooooo.

We stood in the back and waited till everyone stood up

then snuck into the back row, where this friendly man handed me a bulletin :)

And we enjoyed the last 45 minutes of the service

{although maybe we were lucky we missed the first 45 minutes...a long service with a one year old!}
p.s. I didn't even feel worthy to go up and take communion!

After church and a BIG thank you very much to my mother for not telling me it was at 10:00 after she realized the change...

we went to my parents for lunch: Ham, potatoes, and more yummm!

then it was time for the hunt

the kids found their Easter bunny prizes hid around the yard

Then it was time for the

duck pinata

{that was suppose to be at his party the day before but ran out of time}

 After the kids smacked it a couple times then it was g'pa Tom's turn!

He had us in tears of laughter!

b.t.w. Breck says Grandpa {sometimes grandpa plain as day and other times boppa}

We needed pictures of my boy all dressed up in his Easter outfit

so we bribed him with candy

He loved loved loved it!  Probably because he hasn't really had any candy until yesterday {his birthday party} or today {Easter}

So when we tried to take it away....

we had a very angry....

sad boy :(

awwwwwww. poor baby.

but he got over it fast and was back to being Mr. Happy

and tried to get some Easter family pictures!

It was such a beautiful day out!

Enjoyed the sunshine

Even great g'pa and g'ma Lundon came for the weekend to help us celebrate!

Then g'ma and g'pa with the kids

then home for a nap

but we only made it to the bowling alley before he fell asleep!

It was a good day!

Later that night we went out to the Barrick side at the lake

for a grill out! It was amazing and can't wait for summer bonfires!
