choo choo...

We sat at the train tracks yesterday

and I realized

it was the first time Breck has seen a train

{now that he is sitting face forward in his car seat}

He laughed nervously.

As he watched the train pass.

A very exciting Wednesday for us!

A day at the park...

On Saturday

Stacie & I took the boys out for lunch at the Ranch buffet

Breck LOVED the pizza

and refused the cooked carrots his "dumb" mom put on his plate

smart boy!

Then we took them to the park to wear off some of their energy

so they would be ready to rest when they returned home

{or their mom's got to rest}

And it worked.

We both got naps!

Breck shoves EVERYTHING in his mouth

{like a typical eleven month old}

Including these pebbles.

We kept tell him him ick...now he says it

AS he shoves them in his mouth of course :)

Then off he went to the "big" hill

he tried so hard to get up that hill.

One step, two step...

then down he would roll.

We watched, laughed, as he did it a couple times

{really we aren't THAT mean...he's a pretty determined & stubborn child and refuses help with much}

But we did discuss the neighbors watching us

and how bad we "probably" looked!

so aunt of the year helped the poor thing out

and climbed to the top!

When it was about time to leave

I noticed this {a paper clip holding her glasses together}

a).  that is SO a grandpa Tom move

b). she definitely doesn't get a sister of the year award

I have my very own...

Breck carries his blanket around with him everywhere

{and i secretly love it..that he love his blanket}

Grandma Lundon gives all the "newborns" this special blanket

and all the kids {cousin's kids} make it their "nye nye"!

Breck uses it so much, I have to wash it weekly

and need about three more but, 

unfortunately they are hard to find these days

{might have to raid grandma's closet for an extra one when she isn't watching}

Who would have thought

using this thing could be so easy!

Yup, we are newbee's when it comes to the recycling thing

{I shouldn't even be admitting to this..shame shame shame on us}

but since we got this new recycling bin from the city

it's so dang easy! {even i can do it}

And.

I am soooooo shocked that each week

our garbage bin is soooo empty,

when usually we couldn't even fit all our garbage in it for the week.

And.

Our recycling bin is soooo full,

within' a day of it getting emptied out.

and

I should have been doing it long before that

I'm still taking some credit :)

This face...

has jerod & i in tears

he is the funniest little man.

his personality has really come out lately

and i just can't get enough of him!

Saturday night Jerod & I got to go out...

a "date" playing BINGO with friends

and we had a blast

While the Jones family watched our lil' man

Calvin borrowed Breck his jersey and bat

to cheer on the Twins!

I think he may be a big fan...and he may also play ball someday ;)
