Letter to you

Dear my sweet baby boy,

why..oh why did you decide you need to wake up crying at all hours of the night

after MONTHS and months of sleeping through the night? Your poor mom got

used to sleeping soundly after putting your cuteness to bed everynight at eight

thirty and waking up at seven thirty to your big smiles. Now you have decided

that you need to keep your mom on her toes by waking up at midnight, three,

five, six, and yes, I'm still there and will never leave so please, please, please,

sleep well and have pleasent dreams. Now that you have changed your schedule

for me, and I am back to work, you make mom's head bob at her desk, yawn

while at meetings talking to important people, and dream about going to bed EARLY

but can't miss her important shows (teen mom, yes I'm guilty of watching it)!

BUT, how can I even be slightly mad after looking at you sleep in my arms!

P.s. It started on your first sleeper over at your aunts, hmm we may have to rethink

her as a babysitter or it may be because you have a nasty cold and cough :)

P.p.s I thought you may sleep better last night because you were in your new

crib...it's SOOOOOOO beautiful I love it. But no, you didn't.

Ten Year

Class of 2000 Reunion!

Can you believe it!

10 years ago we graduated from high school!

And this Saturday we will be meeting up with old classmates!

Our crib is on the Recall List
(this list is the most recent recalls, if you have an older
crib like ours you have to go google the make/model to see if it's recalled)

This is a GOOD thing and a slight PAIN in my side:

THE Good
We decided to use my sisters crib that she purchases over 9 years ago
for her little ones bc it was so cute and in great shape.

Because we decided to use her crib and usually my parents help us kids
out with our first baby crib, we received the gift of a beautiful wooden rocker,
I LOVE IT. Everyone needs a wooden rocking chair to rock their babes to slumber.

Because we decided to use used, we get a BRAND new crib. Yes, it has been
recalled! Lucky us!




This is our new beauty we are waiting to arrive :)


The Pain
The paper work to get everything squared away for the purchase of our new crib.

Having to take our old crib apart and send in pieces of hardware
a. to prove we own this crib
b. so we can't use the crib since it's not safe...we'll see...i would like to make it Brecks
toddler bed when we need to use the crib for another stinker!



Waiting! We were going to wait for our voucher to arrive for the purchase of a new
crib at babies r us, but realized that that wouldn't come for about 14 day, and the
crib we were going to purchases would then take another 14 days...so
we had to purchase ahead of time (broke our bank account a bit) and get
reimbursed later.

The Good
I JUST checked and our crib is in route to Litchfield from Willmar RIGHT NOW!

Breck will no longer be sleeping in his playpen +

and hopefully won't be fussing all hours of the night+

making for a long night of mom running in his room to put his pacifier back in -

and a long day and early nights -
ALL TO MAKE MY BABE HAPPY +

And the little guy...

is FIVE months old TODAY.

Five,

wow.

Where does the time go!

Breck is at such a fun milestone

and busy, busy, busy!

He loves his "real" food

peaches make him smile,

carrots are alright..if its food, he'll eat it,

sweet potatoes make him laugh,

and peas

he spits on his dad's face!

I'm still making all homemade food: only reason, cheaper and I LOVE doing it!

and i have the best helper...little miss ellery...what a nice girl she has grown to

be...and someday...the best baby sister! I think we are both excited about that!

He has grown out of all his clothes and wearing clothes that

were suppose to be for end-of-winter...yup he's a big boy!

means more shopping for momma!

And my lil man decided to save his tricks for the days m & d were

away!

Monday he started doing the "worm" across the floor to move

from here to there...

and

last night when he stayed at aunt Stacies while we attended a wedding

he decided to start rolling....

its offical

we have a mover! We are in BIG trouble

Time to baby proof!

He still sleeps though the night...for us...

not aunt Stacie (she was exhausted this a.m)

Wakes up with the BIGGEST eyes and BEST smile!

Laughs, coos, reaches, pinches, blows raspberries

He is so fun, we are blessed!

What I really hate...

mosquito's that bite my little man.

windows open make for a fresh house

candles lit, snuggle in a blanket, football in the background...NAP.

Wake up and go for a walk. Fresh air makes for a sleepy baby..and mom.

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend!

then we celebrated the marriage of Ryan & Constance!

What a great day.

why am I selling it?
Because our dining room area is TINY...so I'm looking
to put a smaller table in there so we can maneuver in that cramped space!

Pedal Pub 30th Birthday

This is the pedal Pub we rode on for Jerod, Jeff, and Shane's

30th Birthday Celebration!

Now the details!
For Jerod's 30th Birthday: July 27th

we didn't do ANYTHING...no party, no friends, nothing! I think I kind of made him feel bad...

but I knew we were doing the pedal pub a couple weeks later...he didn't!

So he THOUGHT we were going to the State Fair...and wasn't to thrilled about it. But was

going along with it since we were going with The Baalson's & Johnson's!

(BTW everyone else knew the details..was suppose to be a surprise for the other boys too

but do to circumstances they had to find out early, but still went along with it)

So we get to the cities...

suppose to be on a time schedule..Pedal Pub started at 12:30...it's 12:20 and we are lost!

This is when Jerod started to figure it out! "I didn't know the State Fair was in the middle

of town" he would say sarcasticlly!

Finally find our location (started in Downtown Minneapolis) get out and see the pedal

pub parked on the road and 10 of our friends waiting to celebrate their birthdays!

Details of the pedal pub: You sit on this large cart, everyone facing each other with bar top

room in the middle for the "bar tender" (thanks Missy for being pregnant and being our

waitress) Everyone pedals as the driver (provided by the pedal pub company) drives

us around town to bar hop! It was pretty funny because we rode on the MAIN roads/

hwy's so we had cars in front and back of us as we are going 7 miles per hour!
They would point, laugh, wave, and take pictures of us!

I also had to jump off in the middle of the road and run down the street to get them

because Shannon lost her sunglasses!

We did this for two hours!

Then we all drove back to Ltichfield for another sup rise party at the Saterlee house!

With roasts, salads, keg, and cake!

After allot of secret planning, I think it was a success!
