Faith, Hope, Love

These two people....
I LOVE so MUCH!
And I am SO lucky to have them.

This week has been a tough one...
leaves you with lots of questions
of faith,
makes you believe a little stronger in hope,
and
reminds you to LOVE
and CHERISH
each and every day.

I think this boy knows how much his mom loves him.
I kiss those sweet cheeks,
and remind him every day.

Prayers go out to those who need them most at this time.

Spring Break...

Part of this week I got to feel the effects of the kid's SPRING BREAK!
I had a program for work called Beach Bums that consisted of 19 kids,
beach towels,
kabobs,
and the limbo!

I also had the kids all day today.
And,
I am definatly looking forward to summer!
They were so helpful with Breck...
keeping him busy while entertaining themselves.

We played with shaving cream....
which is ALWAYS a hit around here!

It was a fun, clean mess...
until

this boy decided to put it in his hair...

and this boy put it on his face...

so this boy put it on his face...
then they both screamed because it started to sting!
ohhhhhh boys!

Picnics & Pudding

The other day we decided to have a picnic lunch...
on our living room floor...

with a small blanket...room for one!

It will be fun this summer when it's nice out,
to picnic at the lake!
but for now we'll stick to the indoors :)

For dessert we had some yummy chocolate pudding!
Jerod & I were laughing at him because of.......

a). his pudding mustache

b). his CRAZY facial expressions

Such an entertainer!!
*he gets it from his dad :)

My Elton Cowboy...

This last weekend I attended ANOTHER Elton John concert in Grand Forks with
my amazing (ladies) of our family!
ALWAYS a great time!!
There were 8 of us crazy ladies,
dressed up in pink boas & star sunglasses
feeling like movie stars,
and dancing like queens!
Of course when I got home Breck just loved my EJ attire....

got on his horse...

and rocked out like a star!

St.Patty's

St.Patrick's Day on my my mom's side is always fun.
(G'pa Lundon is 100% IRISH) so it is a HUGE deal...
So we celebrate in style every year!
This year we hosted it in Litchfield!
The family took over the town....there was about thirty of us
that gathered for dinner at Peter's!
Then back to the hotel for swimming for the little people
and
fun times with our brother's, sister's, wives, husbands, cousins, aunts, uncles, g'ma's & g'pa's!

A fun treat my sister in law made for the kids!
Showoff :)
(she found it on pinterest)

And my cousin brought the kids suckers...
the kids were full of sugar and fingers nice and sticky!

All in all it was a great weekend!

The GREAT outdoors...

Lately, everyday we spend
OUTDOORS....
riding bikes,
wagon rides,
stroller rides,
walks,
meeting friends at the park!

This gives me summer fever and luckily I only have less then two months left of work,
then home for the summer! It can't come quick enough :)

I look forward to the help
(Breck LOVES Ellery and Calvin)

The play dates with other mom's and there babes!

The picnics and FUN!

Hope the next two months go quick!!

We let a friend borrow our walker for the summer,
as soon I brought it out...he thought he needed to jump in it and act like a baby!
Funny boy!

Library time!
We biked to story time this last week...
(on my new bike..more to come on that in another post)
The Litchfield Watercade queens were there to read to the kids,
then they made crowns!
Breck loves crafts....
we love story time!

Winter to Spring...

 This weather has been unbelievable
60's & 70's in MARCH!
Less then a month ago we had our "big" snowstorm,
we were bundled up in our snow gear building snowmen and forts!
Now were sneaking out the sliding door to the deck to lounge in our chair
and bask in the sun!

All the snow is gone,
and our barely used snow gear put away for another year!
(let's hope)

Although I missed having a real winter full of snow storms, sledding, and outdoor fun...
I'm now loving this SPRING weather and will officially say g' bye to winter till next year!

Especially to see this little smiley face loving the sunshine...

and these little chubby toes...
NAKED!

Remembering the "little" moments...

So I've been working on some project found on pinterest
and I LOVE this idea!

MONTHLY BABY ONESIES
(you can stick them to thier white onesies, they can hold them, you can set them next to them...be creative)
to remember the moments!

I should have done it with Breck,
but promise to do it with the next one for sure!

For now I am making these for all my friends having babies...
SURPRISE!

You can buy these online,
but a bit spendy (I made them for pretty cheap and feel like I accomplished something doing it)

These ones are for boys
(going to baby Arlo)

And working on some girl ones too...
(sneak peak)

What do you think?

In love...

with a camera.

I friend of mine borrowed me her "old" awesome & amazing camera
to try out since she got a new one!
I want to take his two year pictures soon and this will help tramendously!!

Jerod thinks it the worst thing ever,
because now I want one
no..no..NEED one!

I didn't know how good of a photographer I was until this landed in my hands
(the camera does ALL the work...obviously not me)

So just go with it as you see about a thousand pictures I have taken and experimented with.
My subject:
BRECK JAMES

Breck's crazy aunt and cousin taught him this:
"Breck, how old are you??....TWO"

Ouch!!

Those two fools also think that (because Breck is obsessed with vacuums)
that his second birthday party should be vacuum themed!
And the invites should say....
"this party is going to suck"
nerds.
Some snow day fun pictures!
I realize his scarf I made
(during one of my 4-H programs with the kids)
makes him look like a lion :)

He also has a small obsession with hats
and insisted wearing his pumpkin hat!

Our NEW favorite spot to chill in the house!
A perfect fit.

Thanks for bearing with me!
I've just had so much fun playing with the camera
and it's so hard to choose favorites.
