TBP Lundon's Mohawk

That's it!
Just need to remember this stage.  Nope, I didn't spike it.  It's all natural.

Although It could be because her big brother gave her a hair cut at one month old whole dad was watching them and mom was at a meeting.

I'm not blaming dad.  Not really.

TBP

Here I am again. Playing catch up. So it's obviously easier to post recent events but  what about the big things that happened this past year! I realized after talking to a friend that I am ill. She wanted to start a a blog and I encouraged her saying how fun it is.  She reminded me that she checks mine often to see if I have blogged and unfortunately doesn't find much as I haven't blogged in a long time. I told her how I get anxiety over this.  I lay in bed and think of how much I love blogging, but am afraid to do it again because I missed so much in the past year and feel so bad.  I blogged Breck first four years and poor Lundon, I think I made it to maybe six months. Ugh. But again.  I love going back and reading posts about my boy, life, family! AND I absolutely love reading my friends blogs! So...

After much thought. I decided just do it. Blog. Blog when you can. The only one beating you up is yourself. And it's better late then never. So. Let's. Try. This. Again.

So blog posts that are from the past year will be TBP Throw Back Posts!

This is kind if where I left off.  Oh sweet babies!!!!

Ham and cheese roll ups

Sorry for all the foodie posts! I've been pinning on Pinterest forever and actually get to try all these meals out with my special helper!

So all u need is three ingredients:
Can of pizza dough
Ham
Cheese

Spread dough out
Add ham and cheese
Roll up

I then cut mine before baking. It makes it easier to know if it's done and easy to cut if done before hand.

Bake 350 15 minutes
Eat!

I took left overs and put in freezer bag and plopped in freezer for easy lunch meals! Kids loves them. So did I!

Spring break: adventure one

I am five hours into spring break week and loving every second it!

Today is a beautiful sixty degree day and sun shine, perfect for outdoor fun.
I decided to take the kids to Youngstrom Woods, a hiking trail just outside of town. The kids spent two hours running around and enjoying the fresh air!

I sometime dread going outside with a toddler in tow because I feel as though all I am doing is chasing her out of trouble. It was so great to be able to let her run wild in the woods with little worry. She loved it as well!!
And these two! More like brothers then cousin make their own adventures and make me laugh. Here they were hauling a branch to make a fort. Breck was to tired so he used the stroller! Love them.

And fresh air means....
Tired kids....
Rest time!

Monkey bread breakfast cups

I think I found a breakfast winner!
We made these this morning. It was super easy and the kids helped too.
We are always looking for breakfasts ideas.  Ones that can go in the freezer, thawed, and eaten!
Recipe:
2 loafs of frozen bread (unthawed)
1/2 cup sugar
1tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup butter (one stick)
1/2 c brown sugar
Cupcake tins (foil work best/if paper spray cooking spray)

Oven to 350 bake 15-17 min
Place cupcake tins in pan (spray if needed)
Mix sugar and cinnamon in zip lock bag
Cut bread into 24 strips
Take each strip and cut into pieces and drop into zip lock bag to shake.
Pull or and place in cupcake foil.
Continue with all 24 pieces.
Heat butter and brown sugar.  Let boil one min.
I used an ice cream scoop to pour 1/2 scoop of mixture over each cupcake foil
Place in oven 15-17 min
Put in freezer bags when cooled and put in oven for a quick breakfast or snack!!

Easter eggs 2015

Round one of decorating eggs!
We tried a different way this year that Breck had done in preschool this year.
Boil eggs and while still hot draw on them with crayons or drop crayon shavings on top and let the wax drip!

The best was that Lundon could do it too! And she loves doing what big brother was doing!

Let spring break begin with these two hooligans

Today is day one of spring break 2015 and I have never been so excited for a week off and We. Needed. It.

We can do what we want.  When we want too. No running around crazy in the am getting ready for work and school.

So today we started off sleeping in till 8:15 then a warm bubble bath because that's just what we do for fun around here and some little lady soaked her diaper, which also means laundry is in the list of to do's today. Not something I really wanted to do during break...but I suppose I have time to finally get caught up grr.

So here is a to a week of fun with my people! And hopefully a week of actually blogging...hopefully.
