Cousin's weekend.......

Our annual get-together with our cousin's had

us venturing up north with the kids!

We met grandpa & grandma Lundon & aunt Sharon at Mcd's for lunch! what a treat!

There were four of the six granddaughters

and eight of the ten great grandchildren!

Then we ventured over to Fargo to swim

Let's just say it was quite adventure...

but the kids enjoyed swimming...

and so did my little fish Breck

{he could have played all day in the water}

but I cut that short and made him get out of the water!

While he waited for the kids to finish up swimming

he sat with auntie and played peek a boo

On our way back to Tracy's house

we tried to keep up to Lana's crazy driving

{red van below}

but

she kept going and we got stopped at a light

so

we were on our own to find our way!

So we had a little fun of our own...

we saw this sign and had to turn around to get a picture!

ONLY in Fargo :)

and while we were "playing"

they were waiting for us to catch up!

Finally we found them!

Stacie had to take a picture of this

because she knows how much I hate windmills {I know weird...but i do}

The rest of the weekend was spent

playing Kid's Let's Dance on Wii

chatting

eating

drinking

laughing!

Breck found Tracy's dishcloth drawer {like he does at my house}

and took them all out!
Kora {his second cousin} didn't like this..
so she shoved them all back in the drawer then stood in his way so he couldn't do it again!

What did Breck do about this?

He took her nuk out of her mouth....

and crawled away:)

Ten fingers...Ten toes...

TEN months!

Since I've taken those ten steps {on video..proof ;)}

I decided to quite walking!

My mom thinks this is okay...then I'll be her lil' baby longer!

I LOVE food.

I laugh all the time..and make others laugh too!

How to...

Make homemade baby food.

ONLY reason I'm posting this is because I have made my own food for Breck since day 1

and everyone thinks I'm an:

over achiever

have to much time on my hands

to much....and on..and on...

but HONESTLY

I only do it because it's SO stinkin' cheap to do

and SO stinkin' easy!

{i'll show you so you can- a). try it for yourself b). prove that I'm not that awesome :) ha}

Buy a bag of frozen or fresh fruit & veggies

{i've done both}

Steam them!
I use the Pampered Cheif Steamer
{I microwave with water for five minutes then drain}
Put cooked veggies in blender
{my blender has a puree button. You might have to add a bit of water with veggies, not so much with fruits}

Pour into ice cube trays

{usuallya 16 oz. bag of veggies fill up a tray...

I also made banana's this morning and i used about 4 banana's to fill a tray}

1 cube is 1 oz. of food

Freeze then I store them in two containers

{one for fruit one for veggies}

Take cubes out and defrost/warm on low for 40 seconds

Serve n' eat!

Snow day = Snuggle day

This morning we woke up to this...

more white stuff!

Especially after last week with 40-50 degree weather

melting snow

sunny days

and afternoon walks.

Now we have this stuff called SNOW again

boooooooooo.

The ONLY good thing is........

I get to SNUGGLE with my boy ALL day!

Well....until he wiggles and squirms out of my arms

to go play!

He loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

He stands and looks up at Mickey

laughs, dances,

then looks back at me to make sure I'm still there watching him!

{lately he may have become a mamma's boy...secretly I like it}

My Mr. Perfect!

He was a lucky boy who recieved

cards from G & G Smith....

and G & G Barrick

He found them quite delicious!!

Jerod & I both worked then we all went to dinner

at BWW then home early to bed

It was a WONDERFUL V day!

DAD gets to play!

He had a great time fishing up in Walker with the boys!

{he took pictures of his fish, so I thought I would post them..since he's so proud}

All these boys caught was a buzzzzzzzzzz!

So glad they had a fish fry up there..and didn't bring them home for me!

And the morning before heading home....
