a late..weekend update

This weekend was deer opener...
at first i was pretty down about it {Jerod gone ALL weekend}
but it turned out alright
and am very much
looking forward to next
year to be a deer hunters widow for the weekend.

Breck & I made our way to Alberville to visit girlfriends
{some also weekend widowers} and kids! for a sleepover!

We enjoyed a buffet of good foods, games, laughter, and just plain FUN!

and Miss Lilly, a charmer, watching out for the babies "oh mama, aren't they cute"

After the kids were off to dreamland us ladies got a chance to go out.

More beverages, AND lots of LAUGHS were had.

We've decided we will continue this new tradition...

Welcome 1st Annual Deer Hunting Widows Weekend

p.s we need a better name ;)

AND

we think next year it may be fun to get a hotel room/pool for the night!

plus the kiddo's will be older...

We came home from our sleepover and found dad,

sore {from walking to much, chasing them deer}

tired {from watching for them deer ALL day}

and

WITHOUT deer.

Makes me a tiny bit happy

no deer meat and no pressure to "just try it" {I've tried it, i don't like it STILL}

for ANOTHER year..yesssssssssssssss!
