So much to say...

about our busy, fun, beautiful weather of a weekend!
{I'm pretty sure our weekend updates will be much like this one, bc we have so much fun things going on almost every weekend from now till September}
Friday Jerod stayed home from work sick.
So we just hung out with each other all day long.
It was so warm and humid outside, but inside it was cool with the air set at 73 degrees and Breck still feeling a bit under the weather himself.
So this is how I had him dressed...silly boy!
Can you guess what he is staring at?????
The vacuum cleaner.
He is so afraid of it,
and I promise I use it often enough that he shouldn't be afraid!
Saturday I was up early 5:50 a.m to get three egg bakes in the oven to be ready to bring & help out at my cousin's Miah's graduation party!
Jerod and Breck came later that day after sleeping in and getting a morning nap.
He was ready to party and feeling so much better with no temp!
He had fun playing with there outside cat through the glass door
{we're not cat people...sorry cat people!}
The cat would rub up against the door and Breck would copy him...
laying on his back on the ground...so funny!
Then Breck wore off some energy
and wore his dad out by running up and down the big hill!

It was the best day! Warm, sunny, and low humidity!

Of course he laughed and giggled with his cousin Ellery!
He beams when he sees her and she too.
Piggy back rides from his dad are his favorite!
It was getting to be a long day and we were trying everything to keep him happy until we got home for an afternoon nap! He did so well!

Jerod and I then got to do some outside work we have been trying to do but due to rain haven't finished.
This chair:
My sister, Ellery, and I drove to Hutchinson Saturday morning for the party and we got lost...
I know, dumb huh, but we did!  We were 40 minutes late!
But since we were on some strange back roads {pretty much made a big loop almost back to Litchfield}
we found a garage sale and had to stop {we were already way late}
I found a bike helmet for Breck .25 cents & this chair 1.00

Stacie's idea was for me to paint a fun color for the summer and put it on my front step
and I did just that!
Bright blue
and my new speckled brown pot and purple flowers!
Isn't it cute!
Jerod was busy landscaping!
He has done a wonderful job
{I've helped out too}
But this is our front of the house
and he currently busy making a flower bed surrounded by stones
{really nice, I'll show you when we're done}
We ended the evening with a bonfire with friends and family...wonderful day!

Sunday was busy!
We woke up early and headed to my mom and dad's for {leftover} egg bake...yummo!
The kids had fun driving around in the power wheel.
This was the first time Breck has gone for a ride with his cousin's
and boy did he have fun!
He also got to play with the dogs
letting them lick his face and shoving his fingers in his mouth!
ishhhh..he laughed!
Then we headed out the lake house for our nephew Jackson's fifth birthday party!
We went early so we could take Breck out on the pontoon
{another first...last year he was only a couple months old when we brought him out}
He was so excited to be on the water!
And helping daddy drive!
And a snapshot with mom!
{he wasn't happy to be sitting on my lap while the boat was moving and wanted to be running around}
Then the boys went in the water for a dip at the sand bar
{we should have brought our suits...the weather and water was amazing}

Breck wanted to "jump right in" the water
so we took off his clothes and let him splash...
he LOVED it!
Our little fish...so happy he loves the water!
When we put him back in the boat to go back for the party
he was MAD
We will definitely be back soon for another dip in the lake!

We had to take off his diaper since it weighed 50 pounds,
so he drove back naked :)
Then it was party time!
Cousin's & friends!
Jackson let him ride his tracker power wheel...
he even learned to push the pedal by himself!
On the way home from the lake {a ten minute drive}
he fell asleep in three minutes!
We opened the car doors and let him sleep for a short bit while we cleaned up the yard!

Bath time. Playtime. Books. Bottle.
Sound asleep by 7:30
Good night little one!
What a fun weekend we had
