Like my dad...

I got dimples and a great smile that's contagious!

I lovvvvvvvvve nap time!

And kisses are my favorite!

When i grow up...
i want to be like my dad!

Some family...

This is what happens when Breck visits with my side of the family.
He gets tied to the chair.
This is the high chair at grandma and grandpa's house..
and since it has no buckle
we use dish clothes to restrain them!
He sat at the table and played
while my mom and i laughed at him!

Then there's this!
My cute little...
GiRL?!
Yup, I had to work and Aunt Stacie was at it AGAIN.
He had two blow outs at her house
he was out of clothes
so she ran down the basement to find Ellery's doll clothes/Ellery's old baby outfits
and dressed him.
Grandma had stopped in for lunch break and encouraged it all...
I came to find him napping,
butt in the air,
with a pink fleece outfit!
i was going to keep him dressed in pink till his dad got home,
but instead i took pictures
for Jerod to see and to look back and laugh at/embarrass him when he's a teen!
I dressed him one of his most manly outfits...
a crocodile outfit!
I have to admit.
I think he can pull off the cute little girl look :) poor thing!

So we took the kids to the park and Breck had his FIRST
swing ride?! (is that what you call it? ha)
HE LOVED IT.
His legs were kicking ALL over the place as he laughed!
I had some cute shots of his legs kick kick kicking..
but my camera didn't save them. bummer.

Next weeks forcast: 40 degrees and possible snow :(
we're not ready.

Busy boy. busy mom.

This week...being ONLY Tuesday...has been one heck of a week.
My little man STILL has an ear infection.
So between doctors visits, late nights, and a very unusual fussy boy,
I want the weekend.

So Breck is still sick and we realized it Sunday.
Our options were ER or wait till Monday...waited.
And found out his ears are still red.
So option one, another 10 day antibiotic and hope it works
or
shots for three days :( Was told they would be painful.
I opted for the shots, i know mean mom, but it would be a quicker
fix and we NEED that.
Day 1 shots cried ALOT but i think because his ears hurt ALOT
Day 2 shots didn't even cried, just gave a little grunt ha..i love my boy.
one more day. and lets hope we are DONE or we may have to see a specialist.
So PRAY for my little man...I AM.
BUT
besides that ordeal
he is HAPPY,
PLAYING,
SITTING. yes sitting!
SCOOTING. scrunching his legs up and pushes his head down
bulldozing his toys along the way.
GIGGLING.
p.s thats his new toy..i thought he deserved it since he had shots...
gowsh i'm a sucker already.
oh and he got new nuks today too because while in the store
he took his out of his mouth and launched it,
then decided he needed and it was GONE...so i opened a pack
right there in the store and gave it to him.
No sterilizing
(do people acually do that? I don't, just wanted to sound like a good mom..did it work?)
not paid for yet,
yes...mom of the year!

Weekend update

Trip to Mankato
these pictures tell the story...

  • Jerod taking a nap while little miss J used him for her animals
  • Out with the our friends:everyone is always amazed by her small hands ...and Jerod, well not much to say
  • Mom to be with my little man...she's glowing...poor mama is so sick :(
  • Jerod made an indent on that couch...it was his HOME all weekend
  • Everyone out with us...and Jerod and Maddie, being Jerod and Maddie
  • Little Miss J the kindergartner...and she LOVES to talk :)
  • The daycare girls i miss so much
  • We walked home over the bridge, i bribed them with drinks, and made a stop at the Circle a.k.a Ghetto bar
  • Selly family making Breck giggle

WE enjoyed our weekend visiting old friends. I got to visit my old workplace, dinner
at Blue Bricks, drinks at Mums, a pit stop at the Circle, early morning but woke up to
a HUGE breakfast made by the Selly's, lazy afternoon and naps, Leeann Chin, more laziness,
steak dinner grilled by Selly's, bonfire, beverages, and the traditional late night GARY'S PIZZA
"team America....."
Thanks everyone for a awesome weekend and hospitality
You are to good to us...
we'll be back soon :) xoxo

Some of my favorites...must haves!

#1. Blond fuzzy hair that sticks up and reflects in the sunlight.

#2.Munchkin food feeder more info here
but I'm pretty sure you can get them at Target or Walmart
They are the best because they can "feed" themselves..well kind of.
Right now I put an ice cube in it and let him suck on it to sooth his gums
but you can put fresh fruits/veggies in it and let them eat.
Keeps them busy too.
One problem: it's very messy/wet, but worth it!

#3. Baby Einstein
Yes, i let my baby watch t.v...mom of the year x 2
but he loves it and i can get laundry and cleaning done
supper made and we are all happy!
Plus the music is soothing and not that annoying
especially after watching 20 + times.

#4. Naked feet and lost socks!
I love when he is busy playing and his socks fall off.
especially when it's only one,
and i get to see his cute chubby feet.
#5. Laughing.
He thinks his moms sooo funny.
and i get belly laughs.
my favorite.

ANd these are my favorites i get to see EVERYDAY

that i get be home with him.

im so lucky!

pumpkin pants...

Yes,
he will look back and say "mooooooooooooooom"
Jerod already says "rrrrrrreeeeeaaaaaaally"

Yup,
I can do it if I want to, because I'm the mom.

Yah,
I'm pretty sure my mom use to say that to me.

Yes,
I think this is why Jerod is now crossing his fingers that our next baby is a girl.
Dress up time!

BTW
i put him in these pj's and by the end of the night Jerod has his outfit changed
into new pj's with the excuse of
"he was to hot","i think he was itchy", "he told me he didn't like them"

WHATEVER.
Happy Halloween MONTH!
