To eat! Like his momma..that is why I am dieting :( uggg.
we now give him cereal twice a day because he
LOVES his bottle and can drink lots lots lots.
& mom and dad are broke broke broke :) ha! No, but he is much happier with food!

He is pretty pro at this eating thing...
besides the sucking the spoon, bitting down on the spoon, blowing raspberries with
food in his mouth all over mom and dad...but BESIDES that...he's pro!

so much so that when its time to put him to bed i get sad.

BTW. watched Grey's last night (last years sesion finale) wow.
So sad, I was bawling and just wanted to go pick Breck up and
hug him. But resisted after going in his room and seeing him snuggled
up, butt in the air, in la la land. I heart him.

Breck has been TRYING to roll now for the past week.

He always seems to roll when we aren't looking...

I am trying to tape it, but of course hasn't happened yet.

Learning to sit by himself

Today we stopped by SuperValu aka Save-A-Lot

I used to work there in high school...may have been the BEST

job back in the day

Maybe because ALL my friends worked there along side me

~including Jerod, thats how we first met:

"Jerod pack, Jerod pack" TRUE LOVE!

My old boss Al was there and he says

"how old is he now 7-8 months" um no FOUR. he's just a big guy.

"well he's pretty good looking considering his parents" ha. ha.

He was a good boss.

This sums up the weekend...

We all traveled up north this weekend to help celebrate grandpa's 80th!

Since Jerod is a HUGE football fan,

eats, breathes, sleeps football season...

We HAVE to be too.

So instead of fighting it, I joined it.

I'm part of the Gal's Fantasy Football legue!

And I plan on taking all thier money :)

Jerod thinks Breck is going to be a super fan also..

and I'm only encouraging it, but when Jerod got home

from work yesterday before the 1st game of the season

I had Breck dressed in Viking's gear

(hand me down jumpsuit, I would never buy it ha)

It was a size 6-9 months, but WAY to small...

pulling in all the wrong places and looking like man Capri's!

I kept telling Breck "you look like a big nerd" and he would giggle!

Mini super fan was cut short by crabby lil man needing his blanket & bed

(shots still bothering him..so sad)

He didn't miss much...

They lost.

P.S

Our house is the "Church of A.P." yes I have 10 + fully grown men

in my basement on GAME DAY, eating pizza, drinking beer,

screaming at the t.v....not a pretty sight.

And they think they are going to "baptise" Breck in purple Gatorade...I think not!

Also Jerod wants to paint the wall purple and get a FatHead www.fathead.com

I said O.K. if we get a new sectional for the basement...that kept him quiet!

Labor Day weekend...

was BUSY fun.

Friday...not so fun.

Grandpa's funeral, but got the chance to see family & friends to celebrate

his wonderful life...and the reason we are all here together :)

Saturday...wedding fun.

We celebrated the marriage of Mr. & Mrs. Loch! And what a party that was!

Dancing, singing, dancing, dancing, dancing!

My hip is still sore today, I think from gettin' down...you can tell I'm aging! ha!

We had the Barrick Recreational Campground Annual Picnic (banquet as Jerod would say)

Lazy Wednesdays!

So as my schedule goes with work & doing very part time

daycare this fall...

I have WEDNESDAYS off.

I get to enjoy the day with just me & my lil guy!

So what did we do today you ask?

We slept in...layed in bed & watched tv while snuggling,

ran errands (the never ending grocery store, bank, post office)

picked up grandma and ran her errands :)

Then home for a nap!

I love to watch him sleep...he's so sweet.

He's VERY sleepy today, I think from his shots yesterday.

He woke up fussing after a two hour nap, but refused to open

his eyes! I changed his pants and he went straight back to sleep.

I should be/could be napping with him, but feel i should get some

things done around the house before the weekend.

One thing on my list to do is this:

Yes, I'm going to TRY to make my own baby food.

I'm all about TRYING new things and if they don't work out

no big deal...at least I tried. So here is my first batch of baby food

CaRRoTS and PeaCHeS mmmm, mmmm, mmm!

Lets hope he likes!

It was SO easy.

And it saved us about $20.00! and its FRESH!er!
