We spent the holiday weekend as a VERY busy family.

It started off with me getting to spend Friday evening with girl friends

watching the much anticipated Twilight~Eclipes drooling over my vampire!

Everyone asks which "team" I'm on...in which I reply with a "Edward...bc

I already have my own darky" :) Cleaver I am.

Jerod & Breck had boys night and spent time out at the lake with a bonfire.

Then Saturday...Mom & Dad got to have a little mini-vaca while Breck spent the afternoon

with his Aunt Jina! Thank you again!

Jerod & I got to kayak down the river with 14 others.

An afternoon of relaxing on the river on a hot 90 degree day with friends
& MANY adventures and stories brought back!
Can not wait to do it again...

Lets just say we aren't as young as we used to be & the family was in bed by 9:00

Sunday: Happy 4th of July!

We spent the afternoon at a friends house with delicious food, beverages,

a game of "buck", and ended it with a bonfire & a neighborhood display of firecrackers!

And Monday...another day off....wooo I could get used to this!

Grandma & Grandpa stopped over bc it had been a while since they had seen us...

oh wait...i mean Breck (hmm about a day or two is toooo long ha)

Grandpa was reading the paper & Breck was very intently listening! I love that boy.

Spent the rest of the afternoon at mom and dad's grilling, porch sitting, then home for

a much needed rest!

What a wonderful way to celebrate!

The kids CeLeBrAtInG in style!
