4th of july weekend hour by hour..

Friday day: work till 4:30
6:15: storm comes through and we all head to the basement as sirens go off
and just as we are about to eat homemade pizza: Tia Pie Pizza & BBQ chicken
mmmm.  Delicious.  So we ate it in the basement hallway as we watched treees sway,
hail hit, green skies, branches fall.  Luckly we didn't get have to much problems besides branches fall, unlike some ppl around us. Just glad all are safe.

7:45: Breck goes to bed
7:50: G'ma & G'pa Smith stop by to see Breck, wake him up to play before they leave for Duluth to visit my brother, wife, neice, and new baby! AND to learn to sail!
8:30: Breck back to bed, we watch a movie: Hall Pass...pretty funny flick!

Saturday
9:00: rise & shine, breakfast, clean house
11:00: pick up kayaks, lunch at mc d's, drop off  Breck at G'ma Nina's
12:30: arrive in Forest City to launch kayaks & canoes to go down the Crow River with 14 friends
{we are 45 minutes late...typical Barrick move}

12:45: 1st person tips over in the river {right off the shore..nice} great start to the day
takes us four hours to get down the river
quite the adventure as river was high & fast!
everyone but four ppl {two canoes} tip,
we lost two pairs of sunglasses, couple beverages, and 3 out of 5 liberty hats...not to bad!
6:00: home sweet home, shower, ppl arrive to grill out & bonfire
9:00: most ppl gone for the night, pooped out from the river & sunburns! {I even fell asleep in my chair for 1/2 a second staring at the fire}
1:00: stayed up with a couple friends then realized I needed sleep..goodnight world!

Sunday
10:15: we slept in! Thank goodness Breck likes sleep like his dad does :)
11:00: up and ready for a quick family trip to Hutchinson to do some shopping {me Target for a big floppy hat to wear on the lake so I don't burn even more then I am, Jerod Menard's for two things, we came out with a cart full, then lunch on the go}
3:00: lake Stella with friends and family! Hanging out at the sandbar...beautiful day!

5:30: drive home, Breck takes a quick napper while we shower & get ready for yet another outing!
This is where he layed down himslef to rest :) love this little guy!

6:15: Friends house for BBQ & fire! Great food, Breck loved the fire {kept saying hahahot hahahot..so funny}

9:45: Home again! Breck in bed....ME TOO! We'll kind of.
2:15: friends "stop over" need a place to stay, being "responsible" and not driving :)
Stay up and chat for a bit!
4:00: back to bed!

Monday
9:15: wake! Realize our pool is leaking...awesomeness.

Drain pool, water grass, flowers, Breck runs through the sprinkler!
12:00: I bike around the lake with my mom, Breck takes a nap!
3:45: Get together with friends for cards, BBQ, and celebrate America's Birthday!

Breck has been the torturer for so long, but Cooper is slowly starting to get him back by chewing on him!

I'm pretty sure some day Cooper will be much bigger then Breck...then payback :)

8:00: We are ALL in bed.
