The Barrick Bunch: Wowza, what an unforgettable weekend...

Our annual cabin up north week/weekend began Wednesday...

we arrived & out on the lake to enjoy the beautiful weather!

Then it was time to clear off the sandy beach,

Breck was a great helper!

We didn't think we were going swimming that evening, but Breck had other plans and ran right into the water!

So instead of getting his suit unpacked

he went nude.

The next day his friend Paizli arrived to enjoy the beach and water with him!

They played so nice and were sooo stinkin' cute together.

Days were spent outside in tubes basking in the sun...oh what relaxation!

And ALL the days were filled with sunshine minus rain and clouds, just perfect.

Another year down!

and for those that helped out Jerod with Breck after I left Saturday for my soon to be sister in law's bachelorette party in Minneapolis,

you sure made leaving that much easier!

So off to the cities I headed out to meet my sister in St.Cloud so we could drive together to dt Minneapolis.

All was well when suddenly we heard a pop.

We pulled over and heard the tire making a whistling noise, realizing we had a hole in the tire!

We were on the side of busy hwy 10 in Coon Rapids {because I got us lost...awesome right!}

I call my brother to come help and he says he is over an hour away,

but he could tell us how to change it?! yah right...plus we were all dressed up for the party

mini skirts, high heels, hair done!

So we call a tow truck.

He comes, says he can't get the tire off {bc of fancy wheels} so we have to get towed.

ONLY place open?!

Is in dt Minneapolis!

So we get a ride in the truck, NO a/c, windows down, hair blowing, make up melting off our faces, with a crazy tow truck driver!

BEST way to spend my Saturday!

We get to the shop {and I won't go into all the details}

but lets just say it took over two hours to finally get out of the shop!

Needed a drink in the worst way possible so the auto guy told us of this little bar 90 steps away.

                                                 We weren't planning on staying overnight,
                                              but decided we needed to drink HEAVILY!
                            {I even took shots which i haven't done since my 21st birthday..go me}
