1) Starting the wedding day off with mimosa's with the bride

then off to pictures!

2) My hubby, the video camera man for the evening.

Took his job very seriously and did a wonderful job of capturing

the unforgettable day!

Ended his evening on the dance floor...

had to drag him out of there...What a DaNcInG machine...Lucky me!

3) Me 28 weeks pregnant in my bridesmaid gown showing off my bump.

By the end of the night my dress a) was so TIGHT I could barely breath..only because

they had the most delicious meal + red velvet cake!

b) all the ruching had popped off! ha!

Why would I share this...i'm not sure! ha ha

4) My favorite groom! Having the time of his life.

What a happy man.

What a great wedding!

And now...they are in Mexico for thier honeymoon...lucky them!

Woke up EarlY this morning...

before the sun was even up.

I think I'm to anxious to get on the road to Mankato.

And for the Selly Wedding...events starting tonight!

Bad part about this: I will be exhausted by five, ready for bed by nine
but HAVE to and WANT to stay up with the bride, bridesmaids, and friends

tonight at the hotel...as the "night before the big day, girls night, pig out, game night"

pig out, not so sure anyone else will be partaking in that, but I will be ;) Lets just

hope my bridesmaids dress still fits...getting a little snug around the tummy!

Good part about this: I heard the birds siiiiiiiinggggggg! Does this mean SprinG
is on it's way? Lets hope so soon. It also means baby will be here soon too :)

I think I jinks myself after writing how
well I've been sleeping lately, nice one huh!

Well whats a girl to do in the wee hours of the morning...

I forgot to mention below how baby has the hiccups
ALL THE TIME!
I wasn't sure what was going on at first, my whole body
jittering deep inside throughout the day...but then my
mom told me/and doctor reaffirmed it,
that's the hiccups!
BTW he's got them right NOW! :)

Second on my crazy wondering mind at 3:00 A.M
is how I bet my other prego friends are up too...
(they told me so)
We should start a insomniac all nighters network..or something
so we can be those crazy, bored, ladies up all night!

and tell me what your doing at 3:00A.M, did I mention it's 3:00 A.M
and you know what I'm doing

• Made a list of things I need to remember for this weekend in Mankato (and surely I wouldn't remember in the morning!)
• BLOGGED
• Took off finger nail polish
• Listened to my hubby snore for 45 min. jealous of his slumber!

All this is better then eating right? because that snack cupboard is calling my

name, and I MUST resists!

Update 27 weeks along!

Into the 3rd & final Trimester!!
Less then 3 months away!!
Wow...how fast time has gone.

Doctors appointment yesterday ~I'll update you in a moment, but first~
So TWO days ago Jerod & I got ready for my apt.
drank my lovely orange glucoes drink
~ not so yummy, took all my might to get it down & keep it down~
Anxiously walked into our apt....to find out,
We were a day early! We must have been REALLY excited!
Luckly they were able to draw my blood for the diabetes test so I wouldn't
have to re-drink the syrupy mixture & said they would see us tommorow!
Gosh did I feel like a complete nugget, especially since everyone in the clinic
seemed to know I was a DAY EARLY...lab tech reminded me I was early...hmm really!?!
I blame it on baby brains ~ they said this would happen~ The other day I put
something away, needed to find it about 10 min. later and could not find it
for the life of me! wow...and it only gets better!?!
A friend of mine wrote "didn't you know the babies eat brians" and another
friend & myself found this quite ammusing :)


Anywho...on to the REAL apt yesterday! And unfortunatly Jerod couldn't make it.
I think he was quite dissappointed, but I told him after this next apt we would be
going to the doctor every 2 weeks till the end...so no worries...what a sweet man.

And here is the update:
Diabetes test came back negative-meaning no problems
well one slight problem, I need more iron
Hannah + meat = Ugggg. but i will try, for baby.

Belly measuring more like 28/29 weeks..so a little large!
but us Smith kids were ALL big babies, so I expect nothing but a chubby baby
with rubber bands around his kankles and wrists!

Weight gain this apt was a whopping 5.5 lbs! yah!
Doctor was happy with this, who would have thunk you would rewarded and praised
by eating more + gaining more!!
Total weight gain 8lbs! Yes I know it doesn't seem like much, but I bet this last 12 weeks
I'm sure I will be packing on the lb's so no worries!

• DQ is finally open..Cravin my medium chocolate cone even on a cold wintery blustery day


• The kicks all the time, especially when Jerod starts talking! The bests that I can get him kicking most of the time when I want him too..at first Jerod thought I was bugging him and should leave him alone...now he won't leave him & ME alone!! lol


• Sleep, yes I can finally ALMOST sleep through the night. Just the occassional sip of water/run to the bathroom! But no more aches or pains. And everytime I'm up for that three minutes, baby seems to be too :) ~ maybe not a good sign for whats to come~

Things to do before the arrival ~which seems to be sneakin' up~

• Finish the babies room...take pictures...post pictures!


• Decide on taking birthing classes: doctor HIGHLY recommended them at this last apt but we are thinking nahhhhhhh. lets just go with the flow!
  
• Get supplies, feel very overwhelmed with this one...but have been told to hold off till my shower being planned...love you guys.
• Decide on a name...it's between THREE...Jerod would say FOUR, but no Brick is NOT an option, has never been an option, and will never be an option...he just doesn't know it yet!

The NOT so beautiful

• My face turns purple when I bend over to put on my boots! or sweeping...Oh Jerod! You may have to become Mr. mom for awhile here.
  
• I can't eat like I would like to because there is no room...I fill up to quick!


• My first and only Braxton Hicks scare. I know it's minor to what's to come, but still for a first timer...it freaked me out a little.
• And my first and hopefully only major leg cramps in the middle of the night in both legs, wow, those feel amazing :) Besides that, ALL IS WELL!

Again...all worth it!

Last night out..

Since we've left Mankato last May...

life has been busy busy. We have been

working on the house, finding, changing

jobs, and getting ready for the arrival

of our little boy!

This last weekend I had a blast!

I spent the night hanging out with

old girlfriends from Mankato for

Bride-to-be's Last Night Out!

I spend time with two girls I realized

I miss A TON...we used to have such

a good time in Kato and brought out

our party pants in St.Cloud!

A night at the hotel with old friends,

meeting new friends,

crazy gifts & games,

& dancing!

Can't wait for the wedding in less

then two weeks! So excited to be

part of thier BiG day!

I shop at Walmart...Jerod would say too much to often.
But our family has this joke...along with many others
"People of Walmart"
we send each other emails at work for a good laugh

And Saturday's or 5:00Pm quitin' time I immediately put on
my lounging clothes and go out in public/or to my parents
house...dad zings me with a "you going to Walmart" comment
translating into..."You look like hell" I laugh!

Anyways...tonight I experienced a true life "People of Walmart"
Yes, here in Litchfield MN.
I still am shocked & laughing!

So mom and I ran to Walmart to pick up a few things...I was in
aisle 5 and she was in aisle 12 checking out. I get done mom waves
me down...I find out she forgot her check card and has no way of paying...
so after we run to costumer service so I can pay for them, we are on
our way out the door.

Then this "Person of Walmart" comes up to mom...(she had noticed he
was behind her in aisle 12 huffing and puffing while she struggled to pay)
He had waited for her to say this:
Idiot: "what was your problem" not in a nice tone!
mom: "I forgot my check card"
Idiot: "Every time I come out here I get stuck in line for 20 min. because
of people like YOU"
As he continues to babble and rant on and on and on...
quick witted mom says "That's a bummer" and walks away
while I stand there staring at this idiot, jaw dropped, because
I can't believe this! Tooooooooo Funnnnnnny!
She was to nice.
I said that she was lucky it was her and not me because I might
have told him to F*&# off.... (sorry people)!

We decided there should be a new website..
not just photo's of People of Walmart
but dumb comments from People of Walmart!

MY idea of a book club...

In the last half a year I have read a handful of books
passed back n' forth between a couple of us ladies.
My favorite place to find books amazon.com!
I know, you can rent them from the library for free....
well for most of you, I tend not to renew them, return
them, resulting in a fee! :(

The best part about all these books
is that we find books that will be made into movies!
MY KIND OF BOOK CLUB.
No discussion, just read a book, see the movie, eat
the popcorn and enjoy girl time out!

I'm to distracted and fascinated by little man kicking me
{he seems to start at 9p and last ALL night long}
My energy level has gone from zero to one-hundred-and this
last month-back to zero!
I have heard that life only gets more crazy after baby,
but I WILL find time for BOOK CLUB!

Ice fishing in the suana..

After complaining that to Jerod that he "never invites me to go fishing with him"

he asked.

So him & I, and Missy & Jeff went out on Lake Ripley Sunday afternoon

(after FINISHING painting the babies room yah...pic's to come)

They got us set up in our fish house

then set up thier house

and said told us we were having a fishing contest..GO. Only one problem

we had to put our own minnows on our lines ewwwww.

After freaking out a bit (nearly in tears)

Missy and I found a way...I held the minnow (with a glove of course) turned my head

as she stuck the hook in.

First fish caught by yours truly. Ran to the guys house for them to take it off.

and of course Jerod gets a bit as he is taking it off...MY FAULT...as he reminds

me the rest of the evening!

After a couple nibbles, some ice cold Diet Coke (wish it was a cold beer)

and a WARM fish house...we were ready to go...and patiently had to wait

for the boys to be done.

At least we were warm :)

Seriously the temp on our house..had to go outside to cool off!!

Realized once a year is good enough for me and ice fishing!

I enjoy fishing in the summer much better...

SUN, Boat, SUN, warmth, SUN, less layers, SUN, tan!

please summer come quick!

Oh who won the fishing contest...The Ladies...I caught two!
